It's our first time to travel together in Singapore. Thanks to Cebu Pacific we able to book the cheapest air fare.I share with you our travel experience in Singapore and Malaysia in 5 days. We choose Singapore for our entry since it's easy to transfer to Malaysia either by bus or air plane. It's a DIY itinerary, and I do some search and reading blog it really help me to do a plan. Since Im also a tourist in that place and also a tour guide to my sister, nice & Nephew, and in order to us not to spend so much money in this travel. My first thing to do booked a air fare first it's a 5 months before our travel. And then after a few month I search a hotel where we stay, and attraction we should visit..
I booked our hotel at booking.com in there you can find cheapest price, since Singapore it's so expensive..I already book some our hotel when we travel even here in Philippines, either you can choose to pay within the property or you can used your credit card.
After that I look some attraction in klook.com, if you looking for value of your money try klook the services our good.
Even our transportation from Changi airport to our hotel I booked to klook.
In Singapore our transportation I used to take a grab, just a click a way, your service is coming!
Grab is the cheapest fare compare to regular taxi.
First day we ride in hop on hop off bus, it takes you in different places, base in your ticket, depends in color of you bus you choose, in us we booked one day ride, first we ride in yellow bus, after we finished our first tour, we ride in red bus to bring in other place.
Our 2nd day we spend in Sentosa island.we visited madame tassaude, unlimited cable, tour within the island, I must say you must spend one day in that island to discover more about Singapore..In madame tussauds, their you learn the history of singapore..I don't have a photo to share since it's not allowed to take photo there. But in wax figure we allowed.
After our Sentosa tour we back to city
, Our last destination to visit art science museum.
3rd day We transfer to Kuala Lumpur, we choose to take a plane, I booked our tickets in scoot arlines..we arrived in KL it's early to take lunch, so we decided to looking around in airport, in airport we shop, cause it's affordable, we buy pasalubong to our employees and relatives..
After that we proceed to our hotel tru grab taxi since our hotel is in buket bintag, I did'nt expect that there airport is very far from the city.
4th day Mellaca
We join tour group in mellaka Tru klook, luckyly it's a small group were in 9, our drive is also our tour guide, discovering the history of mellaka from Dutch and Portuguese time.
Mellaka in terms of shopping destination they have it..
5th day We ride hop on hop off.
KL has many variety of shopping destination and instrgamble places, in terms of food maybe next visit I must discover their cousine,we always it in fast-food chain,we had tight budget.
Some tips while travelling.
1. Don't spend so much in shopping
2. Think before purchasing if really necessary to buy it.
3. Bring extra cash in case of emergency
4. Plan your trip a head.
5. Booked your hotel and attraction you should visit, cause it save money.
6. Take extra baggage allowance when travel, cause extra baggage fee in airport it's expensive (we experienced that)
7. Download apps (booking, grab,klook,Cebupac,Philippine airlines) in order to save paper.
8. Set aside budget for transportation, food, hotel, shopping.
